    For the taking of pictures
This feels like an awfully trivial post after all the serious big news ones over here in Off-Topic lately but I'm gonna post anywho

Any digital camera recomendations? I've been browsing Amazon for something to add to my wish list because it'd be awful nice to have a camera that can actually do nice close-ups of my critters. I can't get any sort of decent shot of little Falkor and when there's baby BBs to display I have serious doubts about my HP 315's ability to catch them either. :dizzy: Little and active is a problem. Any close ups of my larger snakes and other critters also don't tend to turn out.

Basically I'm looking for something reliable with good macro capabilities that won't cost me (or a gift giver if it stays on my Amazon list long enough) an arm and a leg. Easy to use is a plus as I have the techno fear.

    So... any suggestions? :wuv: Bueller?

most 3 meg cams will do. i personally like nikon models, but that's just me. nikon 4800 has alot of zoom/macro. a tripod and alot of lighting will help greatly with pics.

I've had good luck with my old nikon 4300. It's a 4 megapixel. Nikon is known for quality macro.

Now I've got a fujifilm finepix s9000.. and it's awesome, but I had to save a looong time to afford it. :)

    coolpix are great!

Woman, you have to get a Fuji FinePix s 5200! I am completely in love with this camera. Any idiot (me included, lol) can point at anything and get a good pic; and if you really try you can get awesomeness. I am hardly even started learning about it but I will post a few pics from it... (please allow for some distortion from uploading!):
