    Shedding Question
Ok, as some of you know my bp was burned about a month ago, don't worry she's doing just fine now, but she has been shedding like mad. The burn became visible the day she shed, about one month ago; two weeks later she shed again, and I checked on her this morning to she had a pair of pretty blue eyes, what's the deal? I always thought that her shedding had to do with her growth, but since she got burned she hasn't eaten, but I have my fingers crossed for this friday! Is it just a growth spurt? Or...what?

They will also shed due to injury. I'm guessing she's shedding off the burn as it heals.

Have you had your snake to the vet for a checkup? Fecal? I believe illness is another reason for frequent shedding.

She went to the vet for her burn, but I also had a fecal done and had her mouth checked, nadda. :carrot::banana:

Then if she's got a clean bill of health, I'd just keep a close eye on her. Or call and ask your vet too. If you can eliminate the other reasons, then I would guess that's it's from the burn. I wonder if there are any articles on snakes and injuries (healing process *runs off to start googling*)?
