This is a T-11 w/ sliding acrylic doors, I say go glass sliders the acrylic tend to warp/bow slightly.
Re: Animal Plastics question
I'll second the issue with acrylic warping slightly. If I'd got them again, I'd get glass.
Re: Animal Plastics question
Jotay,
I commend you for that very nice setup. Extremely attractive and still natural looking. What do you house in there?
Re: Animal Plastics question
Acrylic most definitely warps...Glass sliding or acrylic flip top is the way to go...
Re: Animal Plastics question
Thanks, my 2 yr old ball python Ozzy.
Re: Animal Plastics question
Thanks guys for the info on the acrylic, that was something I was not aware of. I think I am going to go with a T-10 with glass sliders, belly heat coil, fluorescent light for cleaning, Herpstat therm, and the door locks, should round out under 500 bucks with s+h.
Re: Animal Plastics question
I gotta say I love both and that picture and mine look almost identical even with cage furniture and hats!
I ordered glass but they were back ordered so they sent acrylic and then glass when they got some in. I still have my acrylic in and they haven't warped on me yet but once in a while they are tougher to slide. I figure I'll leave them in until they warp or get real scratched - the acrylic shows scratches pretty easily so you gotta handle them with care.
I LOVE my AP cage though.

500...thats a chunk of change...honestly, a T3 is really all you need. You'll save some cash and your bp will probably feel a little more secure. Remember, Bps really don't need a whole lot of space...just a nice thermal gradient, fresh water, and some cover to roam around in!
