    been working on this all weekend. this is in the living room, so i/we (wife) decided to go with wood instead of a rubbermaid. lol

    yep, still have a few bugs to work out. a trio is in there now. we wanted a more natural setup for the L/R. i'm sure we'll adjust a few things as time goes by.

    Is that a bulb at the top? I know burns are an issue with snakes, but is that not as issue with cresties? I've got to get my butt in gear on the crestie inside track. ;)

    yes but it is a power compact bulb, not a reg. one. they don't get hot, and the light is really just for us to view them briefly.
    did you think i'd burn my little rhacs! lol

    Absolutely not, but I wasn't sure if I was missing something on them. I just hadn't seen a bulb in any crestie cages, so I figured I'd ask. :oops: I have crestie basics down pretty well, but any more info I can glean is much appreciated. ;)

    i use one of those as my daytime light, i love how it's been on for about 15 hours now and i can still touch it with it on and it's not even hot :D, just wish my nighttime partybulb was taht way :( smallest i could find was 25w
