Yep, spring is here. My boy's ate!
Well my boy's finally ate. Monty had not eaten since October, Cheetah since late December. I had just dropped the rats into their respective inclosures at 8pm to try another time to see if they would eat.. when out goes the power (bad storm outside, pouring..60mph winds..all the good stuff). I say &%$^(%#^ and blindly feel my way out of the snake room and to the living room to find a flash light. I make it back about 3 minutes later and shine the cages and Wah Lah.....both of them were coiled up around their future meal.

Oh congrats! Hmmm new idea to kickstart my snakes.....flip off the main breaker! LOL

I know what you mean about that storm! We spent about 20 minutes in our closet, since the tornado sirens went off. ACK!! Had to wake the kids up and drag them downstairs. SHEESH! (I hate tornados!!)
Anyway, enough of my whining. Congrats on the feedings. Spring is in the air! :clap: :carouse:

My guy hasn't eaten since Nov and now he is in shed. I am hoping w/ the extended daylight and warmer temps after shed he will eat ( fingers crossed )
It's a great feeling when they start to eat again, isn't it ?

Is this something I'm going to have to worry about? My ball python deciding he does not want to eat? Let me guess, happens mostly in the winter, and then in spring they start eating again? Do they all do this? I know he is eating now, but he is a baby. I hate it when any of my babies fast, it drives me nuts!!!!

Not all balls do that. Ophelia hasn't stopped through winter and she's spent her second one with me.

coongratz on your snakes eating again, sundden change back to winter weather up here has most of ours thinking its not spring anymore cant wait till spring hits fully up here in the great white north.
