Help, python in danger!! :(
Ive had my python for a long time, havent had a single health issue or problem but now ive noticed 5 or 6 small brown crusty marks near the tail end, it seems to come from between the scales. What should i do? What is it? And what is it from? Please help :(
can it spread? I have a baby ball in the tank also but i moved to another, the baby looks fine.

Re: Help, python in danger!! :(
i just washed him in some warm water and cleaned him up a bit. When i pulled him out of thw water he wrapped around my arm pretty tightly and pooped about 8 pieces about the size of a quarter each around. with tons of liquids. Luckly there was a towel below me. Also some blood came out, barely enough to notice. Im very nervious could he have the flu? / sickness.
Re: Help, python in danger!! :(
I would take him to the vet.
Good luck;)
Re: Help, python in danger!! :(
It does sound like a vet visit is in order, also, take some of the fecal matter with you for evaluation by your vet.
Re: Help, python in danger!! :(
Definitely get him to a vet with experience in reptiles ASAP. If you need to know about exotic vets in your area, try http://www.herpvetconnection.com/

Re: Help, python in danger!! :(
Does your camera have a macro function? (Usually looks like a button with a flower icon next to it) If it does, turn that on, zoom all the way out, and take a picture with the camera close to the snake - should turn out much sharper.
