    is this snake poisonus?
well, my uncle caught this snake in his ranch. he wanned to kill it, but i told him not to , he's like what if she's poisonous and would harm someone. after alittle talk. i promised him that i would take it to somewhere far and set it free.

i just dont know its name or if she's harmful or not. any advice would be helpful :)

Where was the snake found? Country...region...that sort of thing. It looks like some sort of sand boa to me, and if so, is certainly not venomous. Even if it were...why kill it? Just let it go somewhere away from someone's home.

Looks like a sand boa to me based on pattern and body.

I was thinking sand boa as well but I couldn't figure out where in the US it could have been found.

I'm going with Arabian Sand Boa. Regardless, it is almost definitely in the Erycine family and not poisionous.

Or I could be totally wrong! :)

sorry guys, i forgot to say where im from
im from kuwait, if some of you dont know, its in the middle east.
its been found in the desert. actually near the farms, close to the borders with saudia arabia.. maybe 50 kms or something.

    and btw.
people are afraid of what they dont know :)
i didnt let him kill it, instead i set it free where it belongs :)
but i will definately tell him that its not, so he wouldn't kill one in the future
    thanx.

if any of you guys have some reference please pm the link

What a lovely little snake. I'm glad you didn't let your uncle kill it so needlessly.
