    should this be avoided?

    currently Mr. Fuzzy is in the clear stage, but he just went through a PURE blue stage

    it is so annoying because we got him, didnt handle him, fed him, didnt handle him for 2 days, left for spring break, got back, fed him, then he had his eyes turn blue, and still cant handle him...

    thats about 4 weeks.

    Ball pythons most definitely teach you patience! I have six of my current seven that are either in blue, cleared from blue or going into blue.


    I try to keep handling to a minimum during this time, because it's when they feel very vulnerable to predators - no need to stress them, unnecessarily.

    Four weeks is a very short time in the big scheme of things and the length of time you're going to have him. Just know that you are giving him the best start possible! ;)
