wish us luck, please (we need it)

Emma, one of our mares, is showing signs that she is ready to have her foal; it could be in a few days. I am nervous that we won't be there when it happens; but luckily we enlisted the help of a friend and two neighbors so someone will be around when it happens. I am pretty darn nervous; never went through foaling before, but with the support group we have it should be fine.
I am so worried! Think good thoughts for us please.

I went thru this before with some friends that had horses, OMG what an expierence. It was as cool as seeing My own kids being born.. Best of luck to you!! Try not to miss it!!

they are so cute when they are born, trying to stand. and i love how they like nibble on your hand with their gums

There have been 6 or 7 baby horses born at my mom's ranch, when I was living there, and we've missed seeing every one of them born, sometimes by only an hour :(
