    recording growth by weight
I just started record keeping , and I was wondering if any of you really documented especific gain's month by month? If so I'd like to know what's your average gain in your bp's weight in gram's , Feeding one appropriately sized rodent a week.

Depends on age, how much they are eating, etc....I raised a female ball up to 1200 grams in 18 months, thats an average weight gain of 67 grams/month. I also have a pastel male thats been eating great, he was about 150 grams when I got him in october, and is now about 400 grams. Thats 250 grams in 5 months, average of 50 grams per month. I think that's about the range to expect for a consistent feeder.

That sound's about right , I got my female at about 100gram's.That was about 5 month's ago , now she's 300grams. I'm wasn't sure about her weight cause I just started weighing them.

My blonde was received on Jan 27 and weighed 187g. He is currently at 395g. He had not eaten in a few weeks for some reason, but still growing like a weed.

Our male 100% het from 8Ball was born on June 26/05 so that puts him just 2 days shy of 9 months. We got him Nov 1/05 at 145 grams, he is now 480 grams so that's an average of 67 grams per month in growth weight wise.

Our female snakes we got at varying ages so harder to get a fix on growth patterns as much with them though I have noticed that for some reason when they hit around 800 to 900 grams they seem to go on this growth spurt/feeding frenzy thing for awhile. Very fixated on eating and not much else and tend to be a bit spazzy for awhile though pack on steady weight as all they seem to want to do is eat. They seem to settle back down a few hundred grams later and return to their more normal patterns. I think Adam refers to this as their "teenage angst" LOL

Well guy's got my first month of record keeping out of the way.My male which I call big daddy went from 570 to 645gram's , my female wilma went from 300 to 370gram's. I think it's weird that they both gained the same amount of weight.
