    incubator is ALIVE!
I finally finished up my incubator in hopes of some eggs soon. I used a small fridge, some 11" flexwatt, wild techno cooling fan and Helix. Works like a champ and was fun to put together. Thank you all for the great ideas! Now if my females will just stop screwing around and lay already!

4theSNAKElady, yeah....something about being a girl might have helped! I have often wondered how much cool stuff I could trick boys out of if I where a girl :P

Thanks vaughn! I am super excited for my first clutch....any day now. Here is a poopy picture of the door closed. No real good light in the room, sorry for the flash. I hated the 80s style fake wood look but it's starting to grow on me..lol!

thanks cassandra :D I used plexi with an outer skin and an inner skin to form an insulating barrier. I hope this will keep me from opening the door all the time to look at the eggs :P

Actually, cueball, I din't trick ANY boy out of anything, nor would i EVER try.....It's just not my style... It was from a friend of mine who dated a guy (whom I was both roommates with) The guy ended up leaving my friend for his ex, and he moved far away to another state leaving some of his things (including a few snakes) behind. He would not come pick it up so, what was she to do??!!! Anyways, i just wish i could have gotten a few of those 4' and 6' custom made melamine and glass front custom cages he left too, but she sold those.......

Nothing wrong with being at the right place at the right time! Are you expecting eggs this season? I really like your leuc rat snakes :)
