    Update on the new crestie...
Well, just went up stairs about an hour ago, and found the little one dead. :crying: Needless to say, I am not happy about this. I got to looking at it, and there was blood around the vent area, and I also noticed it had gone to the bathroom... the feces was actually a piece of what looked like bark, picked it up..it was bark. :angered: I know this was not my fault, as I do not use that for my cresties. I use paper towels for all new arrivals, and after a good quarantine, I switch to moss. We took the little one back to the petshop it came from, and ofcourse, they had no more anyhow... so we got a refund.

Looks like I will be back to hunting for the perfect crestie again. So frustrating seeing as though I had talked about getting a harliquin at some point but stumbled upon that new baby.

I'm so sorry to hear that Jeanne. Even if it was a new little one, it's so easy to fall in love with the little boogers.

I actually have one from her blood lines, I do know she has awesome geckos, but I really want to pick from genetics that dont already exist in what I have now.

Thanks for all your kind words guys and gals... I was so in love with that little one.

Oh shoot Jeanne, that's awful and very upsetting. I know you were very happy with the little one and thrilled to have stumbled across it in a pet store. Darn pet stores that put them on the wrong substrate! So sorry this happened and the little one was lost needlessly.
