    Feeding question?
I've had my Ball Python for a little over a week now. She is skinny and when I fed her a fuzzy she ate it within a minute. I left her alone for two days and had to take her out to clean her tank, but she hissed at me again. Is she still hungry and would it be alright to feed her again?

No, it's not a good idea to feed her again. Wait another 5 days and get her on a weekly schedule. She could have hissed at you for a number of reasons including being in a new environment or maybe you just woke her up. Either way, she's a new snake so you should give her at least a couple weeks with minimal handling. Let her get used to her new place. If she's eating well, then continue to feed her every 7 days with an appropriate sized meal, about as big as she is around or smaller. If you only have fuzzy's, then you might try feeding her two if she looks like she is still hungry after feeding her one.

    Good luck!

You're welcome! One more comment that I forgot to mention. Snakes need time to digest their meal and get their digestive chemistry ready for a new one. You were right by not handling the snake for two days, but that is usually to prevent regurge and stress.

Welcome to the forum. We have a great caresheet here as well as a search function in all the threads so you can look up all sorts of things about how to care for your new snake. Please feel free to ask lots of questions if there's anything you aren't sure about.

    Here's the caresheet link:
