    Quick question
What's the difference between anerythistic and axanthic? RDR has both listed in his collection and says that both can make "snows"...but I must have missed where he said what the difference is between the two?

I've seen anery in reference to many other snakes such as boas and corns, but not usually in bp's. Have always wondered what the difference is.

On his site he even says he has no idea what anery is in the Ball world. I really dont have any idea what the difference is but I would like to know also.

RDR's anery line is a mystery to even RDR from what I understand. :) He bred a hypo (or two or three or ten) to an anery and wound up getting hypos. So I don't think in HIS anery line that it's anything like axanthics.... of course... I could be mistaken. :)

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but anerythristic = lacking red pigment, axanthic = no red or yellow pigment; generally a mostly or totally black and white specimen.

i know i'm right about anery, but my def of axanthic is just what i always perceived it to be...

You're right.. erythrin is red pigment so.. anery = no red.

xanthin is yellow pigment so axanthic = no yellow.

Just like melanin is black so amelanistic = no black (albino)
