Otis's first shed (with me =P)
Yeah, that didn't go so well....I wish I could have been there more to help him out, but I was in Vegas for about 4 days, and my sister did the best she could, but she really didn't know competely what to do. When I got back he had only shed his lower half and I had to get the shed off his face myself because he couldn't breathe through his little nose ;__; I spent the next three days soaking him, pushing the humidity up in his room even more, and helping him get the shed off with paper towels. The GOOD news is he looks amazing and ate today (must have been starving, it had been 3 whole weeks!) Hopefully next time will go much smoother because I'll probably be there to keep an eye on him and I know how to get the humidity up really high. Anyway, thanks for listening, I'm starting to get all this husbandry stuff now finally ;)
