    Life's Ups and Downs
Some days can be serious roller-coaster rides, you know? And not necessarily the fun kind.

After a morning of serious "high"....my Mom calls with some medical test results she got today. She tested positive for breast cancer. Fortunately, it's stage-1, which means they caught it really early and her prognosis is very good. But still....what a kick in the gut, ya know? Sucks...big time.

Such weird feelings today...one minute giddy and laughing...and the next moment feeling guilty for feeling so good...and another moment just feeling very sad and worried for my Mom.

    ~sigh~

Thanks for being here, not only to share my excitement, but for being here to unload to as well.

"ridin' high on Monday - shot down in May"

I know the feeling - no telling what lurks around any given corner.

Hey best thoughts with you and good to hear it was an early intercept! Focus on THAT portion!

Many hugs Judy. I know even with the best and earliest detection you can't help but worry. Thank goodness we women have these wonderful tests now and have a much better chance to triumph over breast cancer than in past generations. You also need to be aware of your risks though hon and I hope also tend your health needs as carefully. Many prayers and good thoughts to your family from ours.

Funny but I just don't believe in coincidences. Perhaps receiving your lovely BP today was to help you in a small way find a bit of brightness on an otherwise very difficult day.
