    Possible mites and ri
man am i mad. i have been doing everything possible to keep my snake healthy and i take her out a lil bit ago and i see white bugs and hear a small pop in her breathing. once my parents get home im going to try to schedule a vet appt and get some mite-out or some provent-a-mite. also, is it safe to spray my leopard geckos with one of the mite meds just in case they have it?

I dunno, sorry. I don't see why not, but I'd ask Mat (justcage) at MGReptiles. Drop him an email.

    Snake mites aren't white.

And since geckos eat insects, I would think that treating a gecko enclosure with a insect poison would not be a very good idea.

I would get each species in a different room if possible. ID the type of parasite you have first, then go with the right treatment. Make sure your temps are where they should be for your bp. I mean, its a no brainer, don't let your temps go below 80 on the cool side and you'll probably never have to deal with an RI.
