quick fix to cold tanks!!
behold i have found a solution to my heating/humidity problems...since i live in MT which is very dry i have problems with maintaing humidity(i just use a spray bottle and a water dish) but thanks to my awsomness... i deduced that if i put a dark t-shirt over the top of my tank it keeps the humidity in, and it also keeps the tank much warmer...(for heating i use an infared heating lamp on a clamp light) but it works huzzah!!!

yay for me!!!
Re: quick fix to cold tanks!!
Just be careful there. Warm temps and damp tshirt = breeding ground for bacteria. You'll want to change that out every couple days. ;) Have you tried covering the top with a piece of plexiglass? That's a great solution. ;)
