Why would you want them to?

They would not even recognize fish as food. They hunt warm-blooded critters, so fish and other seafood would not even register on their "radar." And besides that...bp's eat RATS....even babies can start out eating baby rats or small, adult mice. It'd take a LOT of feeder fish to try and equal that sort of food volume.

There are some snakes that eat feeder fish. I cant recall which they are though. Garter and Ribbon I believe.

Very few captive snakes will eat fish......garters and ribbons are the only two common captive snakes that I can think of....i think it still depends on the type of garter or ribbon....some are found in environments where fish are not easy to come by...

I have actually seen a cottommouth eat a catfish before...pretty cool stuff...Fish eaters generally come from a 'marsh' or 'waters edge' type environment...fish is all they really have to eat in that location so they are adapted to eating fish.

.....that is the one time that I can really beat myself for not having a camera....it was swimming across a canal with the catfish squirming in its mouth....that would have been one wicked photo...
