Get your server logs together, get his IP address - look it up - contact his ISP.

Well using my people skills on him crossed my mind. I have a wife and three kids and a good career so I would rather not do something stupid. I am looking more at legal action.

I believe you can contact his ISP provider and make a complaint, however, if he is using a static or one of those program dealies that change your IP like a revovling door, it still may not be the right IP.

    Go to: http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm

Any type in the IP. Gives you all kinds of info.

Thanks for the link Jeanne. I got something from Sinapore and I know the dude lives in the states. He has threated to kill a few people so I ain't gonna try nothing stupid. That site will be useful in the future I think.

Look at the comments page on my site. I am so mad. I spent weeks researching and making this site good and some muppet has to mess it up. I am going to leave it for a few days til I contact the authorites and they can see it.

Your best bet is to report it to the ISP. In my experience I have seen where trying to trace or use other utilities to identify an IP could lead to what seems like dead ends due to IP Sec policies ISP's have in place. You have enough info to get started (quickly). Best of luck...

Well he used a phantom ISP or something like that. I will talk to the guy who hosts my sites tomorrow and see what he can do for me.

Report it to the FBI. I'm sure they take stuff like that seriously.
