Pics *beware dial-uppers* & Some ?s
Frank's babies are only 4 days younger than Regina's, but they are considerably smaller. Today is the 3 week mark and I've seen them eating and drinking a bit, but I'm afraid to wean them. Are they okay size?

And do I seperate the guys and gals at 5 weeks for Regina's babies? Do they look old enough to sex and if so, how do I go about doing it?

I have no idea the answers to your questions but great pictures! I love that one of Alfred...too funny. What a great ratty daddy! =)

3 weeks is much too young. 4.5-5 weeks is better and allows the babies to nurse for as long as they need to.
Males and females need to be separated by 5 weeks of age. The baby boys can be put in with dad to socialize a bit or can be kept in their own cage. Here's a link to help you with sexing them: http://www.ratz.co.uk/sexingrats.html I can sex babies when they are born, but it takes a little practice and a trained eye. By 3 weeks anyone can tell and by 5 weeks, a blind monkey can tell ;)
Hope that helped

Yeah, I was going to say they do seem a bit too small yet. I would give it another week or two.
