about 3-4 months old is all and about ready to shed.

the stick was baked and is pretty sturdy, is that all we need for the stick?

You don't have to have a stick. That's purely optional. As long as he doesn't fall from it repeatedly you should be fine.

As for hides, You've got the low and tight down, but I think it's a bit open in the front. I prefer for them to have a place they can feel completely secure and not exposed at all. It also looks like you need to cool your hot side a bit too. 98 is a bit high.

Nice looking little guy though. :D

i believe it was 96 last night when taken. just the flash caught it and lit up the thermometer.

as for the hide, both of them are open more than i would like, but they didnt have any smaller box . i tried to find some but didnt, so i think these will make due until then.

also the stick is in there for his shed as well just for something to rub against since he seems to be in it.

It might be good to nudge those temps down a tad. Mr. Fuzzy Pink Pony is cute...and I think the name should stick! I promise you he'd/she'd be the only bp in the world with that name! :P

    long story short:

GF's roomie kept saying we were getting her a pink pony for her bday as a joke. so if the BP is female, its Ms. Pink Pony, if male it becomes Mr. Fuzzy.

the temps are down to 93 and the cold side is 80 in air, so glass is prolly warmer by a few.

we have a thermostat coming tomorrow, that will be on the hot side, and my homemade rheostat will be attatched to the cold side.
