What does everyone use to watermark their photos? I generally use Irfanview to resize (it has a great batch feature) but I dont know what to watermark with. Thanks!

Re: Watermarks
Irfanview ruuuules. I use it at work because it digs out more technical information from raster images than any other application, including Photoshop.
If I wanted to put water marks on photos, I'd use Photoshop. But You can create a transparent gif of your "mark" and then paste it on top of your photos and resave. If you just want your logo on there, just slap on it.
If you'd like help creating the first bit, lemme know. I can probably whip one up for you. =)

Re: Watermarks
I have Photoshop (I have actually taken Photoshop classes but the most I got out of it was I am now better at putting my friends heads on other pictures). Here is my friend John doing his Osama impersonation (I love this one):
But back to my original point. I wonder how my logo will look on a pictures. I think it needs to be outlined in white to be more readable but I've never been able to figure that out. Any help would be awesome! I'd like it to be a transparent gif.

Re: Watermarks
I use FastStone Image Viewer to resize AND watermark all at once... Also has a great batch feature.. and it's freeware! (And it was recommended on this site by someone... maybe Jo?)
Check it out... pretty cool..

Re: Watermarks
Sure appears to! And you helped me find the watermark feature while I looked for the thumbs resizing.
