    which substrate smells the strongest?
    Which substrates have a strong smell to them? I want to get the coconut fiber or bedashed but I dont want it to have a strong smell like mulch does

    Do you mean bed-a-beast? It only has a faint earthy smell.

    Mulch is strong smelling, then bed a beast. I dont think the coconut fiber smells at all. Neither does aspen, carefresh or good old newspaper.

    Aspen (which we use) has a slight woody smell in the bag, but airs out nicely in the enclosure. Cleo and Carmen don't smell, they are oder free animals.
