    Quick Question - Pictures
Can you post pictures from other web-servers if you use the img tags? I'm quickly running out of available space here - can we say - picture fanatic? LOL

    LOL.

    WE LUBS PICTURES!!

Do you mean like IMage Shack, Photobucket etc? Of course you can! Even if you have your own domain/server you can use that.

The only restriction is bandwidth leeching or hotlinking where one links to pictures hosted somewhere else without permission etc. For instance if I threw ]img[ tags around the URL for a pic hosted on Kingsnake or something.

I know that's not what you meant and you wouldnt do that - but figured it beared mentioning while on the subject (generally we don't encounter folks trying to do this much).

We hope one day to be able to offer folks more gallery space - it's difficult trying to pare down and delete images!

Great! I know that there are some forums that don't seem to show pictures with the img tags from somewhere else. Not sure why, it has the correct tags - which generated the question.

Got two new girls in today that I want to show off, but my space is very limited and you're right, it's a bit cumbersome to edit out pictures to free up space. It would be nice if you could click on multiple pictures to delete all at the same time, rather than clicking on the picture, then edit, then delete - one at a time. Not complaining mind you! LOL

Well, need to go run weigh in at Weight Watchers, then I'll be back to post pictures of the new girls!

Yeah I've seen that a few times with different image hosts. It doesnt seem to be global or uniform though - some see it no problems, some cant see it at all, and sometimes if you open that URL in a new window and go back they will show up then.

If it behaved uniformly I'd suspect some setting in our vbulletin - but since so many folks seem to see them without issue it must be more related to local settings (firewall, domain policies, any number of culprits).

I agree the "editing" tools in the gallery are definitely lacking in the ability to delete multiple pics at a time. If I can find some time it's definitely a code modification worth looking into if it's a possibility.
