    juvenile snow corns
    i was hoping to get a baby snow corn at the herp expo on april 2nd and was wondering what they eat as juveniles? they look too small to eat pinky mice right at first. do they eat crickets or somewhere i heard that they can eat fish?

    They eat 1-3 day old pinky mice... or the smallest you can find that you think would fit in them.

    I had a baby milksnake for about a month (foster) and had to go to the reptile shop here every week and pick out a baby mouse.

    ok. i just thought they seemed really small. like maybe 1/2inch girth size?

    yep... they can do it. I've seen it. I didn't believe it, either, but he took it down like a pro.

    Hey, no prob. The only thing you gotta worry about is being able to supply the little mice every week. It's hard to find a supplier that's consistently going to have 1-3 day old pinks.

    ya. the store that used to sell them closed and is moving too far away to visit. i might have to breed!!!!! YIKES

    My daughter has a young milksnake so similar issues with getting the right size pinkie mice. I go in and pick a litter of pinks the right size and have them frozen for me. That way I can buy a bunch at a time of the same age or like this week the pet store had a whole bag of just the right size so I snapped up a few weeks worth for Emi the milk.
