We put one of our males with one of our females just last week, and they went at it several times. So, we took the male out of that tub and put him with another female, and they went at it several times. I have no idea whether we'll be successful, but apparently it's not too late to start.

I'm just curious what effect it has on the next breeding season. I held off this year due to a move. If I was to do it now (and im not saying i would), would I have to hold the females off for an extra year?

Breeding this late in the season would give you less time to put weight back on your females for next season...unless you start next breeding season at the beginning of March again. I would just wait til next season and put more weight on all your girls.
