    Chlorhexidine?
Can someone please tell me how much chlorexidine it takes to make 28 oz of solution. I have a 28 oz squirt bottle and need to know what the mix is. I know it's 1oz to 1 gal so what's that work out in oz's to oz's? Sorry I suck at math too.

I too suck at math, but there are 128 ounces in a gallon. Can someone help with the computations here?

Why not save yourself the hassle and make the full gallon and pour what you need into your spray bottle so you can save it for easier access later.

I thought it was 2oz. to a gallon? If so, you would need a little less than a half ounce of Chlorohexidine for 28oz. of water.

Well, if the ratio is supposed to be 1oz of cleaner to 1 gal of water.....then you would want to use .22 oz for a 28 oz bottle. (Or 1/4 of an oz...close enough)

    128 oz = 1 gallon
    64 oz = 1/2 gallon
    32 oz = 1/4 gallon

I still say save yourself the hassle and make a gallon and store the rest for later use.

I use 2 ounces per gallon too. :D I also make up a gallon at a time, and just refill my squirt bottles as needed.

I was looking into buying the stuff one time, and I read on a vendor's site that it's anti-viral properties have a shelf-life of about 6 weeks after diluted with water. Just a heads up to all you gallon-jug makers.
