    another feeding question
I have been reading some threads about feeding on here and I was wondering how much I "can" be feeding my BP.

She is about 2 ft. in length and is feeding on a medium/large mouse every week, I want her to get BIG but not make her obese! The couple of ?'s I have are: Should I attempt to try and feed her 2 days a week? and if she takes 2 meals a week will it make her more aggressive?

any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated on the subject.

As I was saying in a thread earlier today, once a week feeding is healthy and good for any BP. If you over feed, you may end up with a faster growing snake, but the snake's body can be stressed from growing too fast, and some believe overfeeding can shorten the life span.

Snakes' digestive systems are designed to take infrequent, large meals. I reccomend feeding one rodent the size of your snake's girth once per week.

Seeing what she looks like wouldn't change my answer. My bp is currently around 2' and I feed one small rat once per week. All of my snake but the big boas eat once a week and grow at a good rate. The big boas eat every two weeks.
