    ate two mice
last week crowley didnt eat, frozen or live. no harm no fowl since we'd just got him.

this week we bought another f/t(rat) and two more lives to accompany the mouse we bought last week. basically, crowley was ticked off about the f/t when he seemed to know we had lives. he wouldnt take the f/t but did eat a live when i gave it to him. still a bit aggitated we sealed the top and left, assuming tony'd get the live out in the morning when he'd chilled out and gone to his hide(we had taken one out). Tony just got home for his lunch break and was going to replace his missing hide and remove the f/t only to discover piggy had eaten the f/t also.
We had decided to feed him on live after tonight but now i think he'll get over it and take a f/t.

    Questions:
Should we wait longer than 48hrs for his next handling since he ate a live mouse and a f/t small rat (the mouse wasnt full grown and the rat only slightly larger)

Should we feed him on schedule next week- i suspect i should to get him on a regular schedule and all, but just want to make sure

Should we feed him two f/t small rats for a while since he can/did take it and seems smaller than other BPs of his age (he's atleast 3 years but when compared to other BPs online he doesnt seem as fat as one should be)

These 'small' rats seem more like the size of rat pups or weans correct? Or are they actually an almost full grown rat? If they are both relatively small (and about the size of a mouse) then I think you should be fine offering two again next week, unless your snake has a very distinct bulge in his belly. You don't want to 'lump' your snake. Something that is the same girth, once a week should be fine.

As far as handling goes, I'd wait a bit longer if you noticed a very distinct lump in his belly. Otherwise, I think 48 should be just fine.

    thanks :D
    will check for the lump

the small rat was a slight notch bigger than the mouse, the mouse was adult size.
