Places Your BP Has Gotten Stuck In...

or hasn't wanted to come out of.

2 days ago my big female decided to slither inside my cousin Ernerst's printer. Good place for a hide spot huh? Well it was no fun for me because she quickly got her head stuck on some metal things inside the printer and it was very hard trying to get her out. At one point I got so frustrated I thought of completely breaking the printer to get her out but that wouldn't be fair to my cousing. It was really hard to help her out because she was obviously scared and would get so tight in there making it impossible to stretch her out. After a while I guess she calmed down and figured out her own way of getting unstuck I helped out as soon as her head was loose from the metal things.

What are some places your BP(s) has gotten stuck in or hasn't wanted to come out of?

Well.. not a BP, but when I was 9 and had a corn snake, my friends were playing with him and somehow let him get stuck inside a 14" across dried starfish. Yeah, that's right, a starfish. He eventually came out, but I wasn't amused.

Hm.. How do I go about saying this...

Amani had gone up my sleeve and was sleeping in my shirt. Then she yawned, and well... her teeth... um... got stuck... on my bra.

There I said it! :oops:

And yes, she removed herself, but it was pretty funny :)

When I used to work at serpent safari, sometimes the boa would stick his head through the gap between the buttons on my shirt. Always got made fun of when the snake did that.. and his favorite place to sleep was with his face hidden under the collar of my shirt. Sooo cute.

Rionach got stuck in my hair LOL. I had it in my typical scrunchie pony-tail style (yes I am a fashion forward kinda gal :P) and somehow the little turd snake slithered between the scrunchie and the back of my head then twined back around into my ponytail. Took some help to get her out of there as I couldn't just slide the scrunchie off since she was in the way of it. Silly snake!


We do have to constantly watch the big BCI Rauri for this stuff. He doesn't seem to have a clue that his wide body won't fit where his head goes all the time! LOL His funniest stuck story was the day he decided to go under Mike's manly man chair (the ever faithful hockey watchin swivel rocker). Rauri decided it was his chair, went under it and coiled on the underside. Mike had to haul the heavy chair with snake attached up in the air so I could uncoil Mr. Stubborn Snake. Not really a stuck story, Rauri likes to claim stuff and has been known to drag a small side table here and there when he's in a redecorating mood.

I have found this to be a common boa trait. Ophelia my big gal tried to pull down her mate's cage on my foot, and Diva the hog island likes to pull lamps down on top of me.. Julinar the baby BCC is learning by dragging her tub out of the rack with her and dumping everything on the floor. :)

The ball pythons haven't really gotten stuck.

The black blood keeps trying to go into my closet with the door closed, but she doesn't fit. She doesn't really get stuck though.

I have taken off several shirts though, since the IJCP's have tried to hide in it and end up with most of his/her body inside the shirt, head outside a sleeve and tail outside the shirt elsewhere.

I've also had to pull apart my dresser becuase I didn't see the black blood heading underneath it before it was too late to pull her out.

When my friend was taking care of her teacher's corn snake, she (the snake) got stuck in the door, between the actual door and the jamb. We had to VERY CAREFULLY pull her stupid butt out.


Also, my bp crawled into the little place on my computer chair where the swivle part is attached to the chair....it took me a whole hour of frantic searching to find him, and then I had to take my chair apart to get him out! Fun stuff =P

The ball pocket of my kids foosball table. I had the setup underneath for a short time and decided it was time for dinner. I forgot I had grabed the mice earlier and everytime I moved my hand away (clueless):clueless: he got closer to the ball pocket and just kept striking at me from there until I took the left side of the table apart (what a task with a hungry boid, sheeesh!:omg) :). LOL
