    Working on Photo Skills
I was testing out different backgrounds and lighting and since I don't exactly post much I figured I would post a few pics.

Normal with black back ground in sun light

Hypo Male with white back ground under halogen light

Phet Hypo with white back ground in sunlight

Normal with Blue back ground in sunlight

The hypo pic is actually an older pic, I'll wait till he sheds to get a good pic of him in the sunlight.

I kinda like the Blue and the white under sunlight, and in case you are wondering the blue and the black are a sheet from the back of an aquarium... Blue on one side black on the other... enjoy

I like the second and third one best, myself. That blue is a bit harsh for me, but I'm not a photo expert. Nice pics, btw. :D

I like the second one best, the pale almost pastel colors on the background are very flattering!

I gotta agree with Sheree on this one. That second picture is beautiful!

I'll agree that the halogen light on white seems like the best color - although you might think about photographing the same snake in each background/lighting combination so that you rule out favoring the snake itself from picture to picture. =)

Great pics....I'm such a shutterbug myself....my boyfriend asks me all the time whether I take pictures of anything other than snakes :D !! What kind of camera are you using? Is it digital? I think all the pictures are good, but there's something about sunlight that just seems to bring out the gold in a BP's eyes that a camera's flash just doesn't seem to get. Also, that last one looks almost exactly like one of my babies (Gambit) from last year's clutch :)

Thanks all, I'm still working on my skills..... the funny thing is that I didn't get into photography until I got into snakes...Type of camera: Digital Kodak Z7590

I agree I'm waiting on my hypo male to shed so I can get some sunlight photos and compare. Right now I'm thinking some morphs and color variations seem to do better in different types of light, But we shall see...
