Why don't you choose the monitor you think you'd enjoy most instead of having to settle, and then pick the right enclosure for that monitor?

well said Kara. you might have to wait longer, but it will be well worth it to get what you love.

heck, im holding off on getting an ackie until i build a rack for my snakes and get the proper cage for it. i coulda got it a month ago but i didnt have the best enclosure that i knew i could get for it so that it would be happy and healthy so now i probably wont get it until july minimum.

I was holding off for a while on getting a monitor until I had the right enclosure. When I was looking a couple years ago I came across the Mangrove Monitor, when I found out about the encloser I was trying to get ideas on what to get then today I was looking and came across Mangrove Monitors again, I guess I had forgotten about them. They will probably be my choice. I just love them. My other choice was a Frilled Dragon but I think ill go with the Mangrove.
