    A cage question?
I am going to adopt 2 more Ball pythons this weekend and the lady said they come with a encloser, so I thought they were in something like a 55 gallon tank, boy was I wrong. She said the cage is 6' x 6' x 5'. Thats huge, way to big for bps, so of course in getting the encloser because ive never seen one that big (maybe I can put my sister in it:twisted:) but my question is what exactly could go in there?

You can always donate it to a reptile rescue. I bet they are always looking for decent cages for their multitudes of Iguanas and monitors.

Thats the thing though, I run a reptile rescue :) and the person who is getting the snakes before I get them (shes getting them vet checked) runs a iguana rescue and she didnt need the cage.

I would go for properly housing the sister species. They can be quite difficult to maintain if not given the proper cellphone minutes, hair thingys and boys to scream and giggle about.

    Hehe :)

If you have not seen them yet....make sure the woman is really talking about ball pythons and not burms ;) ...cause that sure would explain the large enclosure and someone wanting to get rid of them.

They are both male BPs, only around 3-4 feet long.

well I just got bad news. The lady sold the snakes. Made me mad, she said the snakes were ours and then just up and decided to sell them a couple days before we were going to pick them up. I dont know about the enclosure though.

What a b@$*@!!!! That's happened to me before too....only they gave the snakes to someone else, when they were promised to me. I f that enclosure is a glass aquarium, why not make it a beautiful saltwater or tropical fish tank?
