going to the vet

I plan on taking my bp to the vet know that we have one that knows what to do. Im wanting to haveing it sexed and what else should i have done this is the first time we had a vet that knows what they are doing with a reptile. Thanks Aaron

Well your vet should know what to do.. sexing, weighing, and a fecal exam if you have a sample are all good things to have done.

ok should i wait until i poopes to take him to the vet what should i do with the poo. Also he hasn't ate for me for about 2 feedings now so im hoping the next week im going to try to feed again.

Usually you can just drop the fecal sample off any time, you don't need an appointment. Just take your snake now and tell the vet you want a fecal exam. You can probably pre-pay it, then just drop off the sample when you have one. Take the sample as soon after it is 'deposited' as possible.

I have a juvenile male BP.

You can get baby BPs cheaper usually, and it's nice to watch them grow and know their history, but there's nothing wrong with getting an adult BP from a reputable source.

im looking for something that don't go off feed like a bp though but gets about the same size. What do you recommend?

There's so many kinds of snakes out there.. I don't know what to recommend to you. The question is what do you like... look on kingsnake and fauna to get an idea of what's out there, and then do your research on the husbandry.

thinking about getting a corn or a king but alot of people pick on guys for having small snakes like them.

Pick on? Who cares? If that's what you like, get them! Kings are tough snakes anyway.. lol more attitude than most of my boids.
