Lost on what to do

Hello wife and I are wanting to purchase a Sunglow Motley but i have a hard time thinking about paying 100.00 for the snake and another 60.00 to ship it. So im wondering if i should just stick with purchasing a babie from a local petshop? Instead of paying the shipping, im also looking to get either a creamsicle or a Butter what is your suggestions. Thanks Aaron

Good luck finding one in a pet store. I bought one at the NARBC show for $65 but it died from unknown causes.

Shipping should not be $60.. closer to $30.

man, i would go to a reptile show.....no worries about shipping and there is a HUGE selection. I have gotten over half of my collection at shows.

thing of it is i live 2.5 hrs from the ALL OHIO SHOW so should i just go ahead and stick with the cheaper morphs and get them at a petshop or should i just go ahead and drive and get them. Shipping to Parkersburg W.V. 26104 Plus im worried about getting them at a show and it dieing also

Personally, I would happily drive 2.5 hours to a herp show. (And have...twice...and I wasn't even in the market to buy anything!) In addition to the opportunity to cherry-pick from a huge selection of animals, the shows are (usually!) totally awesome!


So, if I were in your shoes, I would enjoy looking forward to the next show and go see if they have what I want there, before settling for a "petshop" animal. That's just me....

ok well i'll wait until the new babies roll out and then go that's what around July right? Im wanting a Sunglow and a butter that is what i really want bad.

I've been looking for sunglows and sunglow motleys as well...there are several breeders online who say they have sunglow motleys coming soon; prices ranging from $45-75, at least on the websites I've seen.

Patience and perseverance and we find those gorgeous oranges!

I miss my sunglow motley... *sigh*

bah, i so wanna go to a show :( , we dont have anything like that here.
