    Valentine's day present
I saw this guy at the pet shop yesterday, and told my girlfriend about him (her?) when I got home. Today, she asked if we could go back to get some stuff for her cockatiel. When we got there, she walked in, pulled a big red construction paper heart out of her purse with "happy valentine's day" written all over it, and slapped it on this guys cage.

He's a ghost corn, about 3-3.5 ft long, and a little over two years old.

I have a very cool girlfriend!!!

I'll buy reptiles from this particular pet shop. The store is always spotless, the animals in good condition in clean cages. The owner has been in business for 36 years, and in the same location for the last 29. Not what you'd call a "fly-by-night" operation. But as a rule, no, most pet shops that do carry reptiles are pretty disgusting.

yea the local guy that just opened up was pretty good when he opened but now it's all about how much he can get in and how many free snakes he can take in and sell for more than he gives the people that don't want them anymore and he has had alot of the same snakes in since he opened. SO i don't deal with getting anything off him anymore.

I sure do like her!!!! And it was a TOTAL surprise! She's not really "into" snakes, but her six year old daughter is fascinated, so its something we can do as a family. When I was mentioning it to her, I was actually thinking about buying it for her daughter so she could have "her" snake (under my very close supervision of course).

And yes, she does have a sister, who may be moving down to phoenix this spring.;)
