Re: Valentine's day present
wow what a nice snake very pretty so you buy snakes at reptile shops? Im looking into getting a corn sweet snake
Re: Valentine's day present
I'll buy reptiles from this particular pet shop. The store is always spotless, the animals in good condition in clean cages. The owner has been in business for 36 years, and in the same location for the last 29. Not what you'd call a "fly-by-night" operation. But as a rule, no, most pet shops that do carry reptiles are pretty disgusting.
Re: Valentine's day present
yea the local guy that just opened up was pretty good when he opened but now it's all about how much he can get in and how many free snakes he can take in and sell for more than he gives the people that don't want them anymore and he has had alot of the same snakes in since he opened. SO i don't deal with getting anything off him anymore.

Very nice cornsnake and very nice girlfriend! I bet some of our single members are thinking "hmmm wonder if she has a sister???" as heck what person wouldn't want a partner that surprises them with snakes for major holidays! (I got Rionach for Mother's Day LOL).

I sure do like her!!!! And it was a TOTAL surprise! She's not really "into" snakes, but her six year old daughter is fascinated, so its something we can do as a family. When I was mentioning it to her, I was actually thinking about buying it for her daughter so she could have "her" snake (under my very close supervision of course).
And yes, she does have a sister, who may be moving down to phoenix this spring.;)
