one of her horsing around (note the blemish on the back of her neck- just some mating wear and tear from the male)

Oh I do love pictures of Leos! Thanks for feeding my growing addiction LOL.

They are all sweet but that last one of the big female is just great. What a lovely big female she is!

They are so cute! I love the Leos and the Cresteds. Have you guys seen the Geico commercial where the little spokes gecko is talking to a Leo and the Leo gives him an eyelick! Too cute!

unfortunately, that commercial with the leo licking its eye is all computer graphics. their tounge is not that long and consequently, they have eyelids to clear their eyes of debris... still would be cute to see them actually do that like cresteds, but just not possible!

Just goes to show how much I know (or don't know - in this case)! LOL It's still a cute commercial, but not nearly as cute as your babies!

my leos actually can and do lick their eyeballs... they don't do it as often as cresteds do but when they are shedding or if there is something irritating their eye they will lick it, though it looks as if most of the time they close their eyelid and then lick. maybe i can try to get a pic...

interesting.....never seen it done before. I've seen them lick their eyelids during a shed, but in order to do that they have their mouth almost completely open in order to reach, not really close to what was shown on the commercial. The tounge on the commercial even looked computer generated...

the tongue in the commercial may very well be computer animated. i've only seen it once and that was from across the room, so i didn't really see it all that well. that would definitely be easier than sitting rolling film and just waiting for the leo to decide to take a lick. :)
