new BP with a weird tongue

:confused: i recently adopted a nice female BP this past Thurs., which will make a total of five. She's still being quarantined, but she's got no mites, feeding well, poops, and great weight. However, she's got this weird thing goin' on with her tongue. She can flick it alright, but it only comes out about half an inch or so, compared with my other ball pythons....could it be she has a short tongue or something and is this normal? I checked her mouth for any abnormalities, but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I hope everything is ok.
