    i just brought home an a. versi sling today... what a cutie pie it is. we've named it chicklet :date:

    it's so tiny though... i wish it was bigger cause i know they can be tricky to raise from 1/2"

    any pointers?

    THey are gorgeous lil thangs. I also had a versi sling - sadly after about 6 months she got hung up in a molt :(

    If it's small enough, rehouse it into one of those big salt shakers (make sure it can't climb out the holes though). They need lots of ventilation.

    i've added more ventilation in the lid for it. which will be enough until it molts at least once more (last molt was jan. 15th) then i can move it to something larger. ;)

    actually it's quite amazing how active beautifully coloured and intricately detailed something so small can be! connects you with the wonder of life!

    It would not hurt to put some holes into the side of the vial to allow cross-ventilation. I have done this in the past by using a small heated up snake probe...I just stick the probe into the flames on my stove lol. Crude, but it works.
