need help naming western hognose please
i don't normally ask this kind of question on a forum, but i'm having some serious issues coming up with a name for this little hoggy. the only semi-okay name i've come up with for him was boss.. as in boss hogg from dukes of hazard. the only problem is that i hate dukes of hazard :(
someone else mentioned duke, as in john wayne, because he's a western hognose... but its kind of a weak assimilation i guess.
    ideas? please?!

How about Butch or Cassidy or Sundance? If that sort of thing is interesting I'm sure google has a ton of info on infamous outlaws of the wild west.

Sundance would be a cool name. =)

    Other ideas:

    Pecos Bill
Sierre Madre (prolly better if it's a girl)
    Route 66
    Wyatt or Wyatt Erp
    Chimichanga
    Kokopelli

    ha, i like the names!

technically this is my girl's snake (even though it's at my house and i take care of it) so i'll have to see what she says.

for some reason i like chimichanga - although that may be because i'm starving right now ;)

hmmm...what kind of personality does your hognose have? Personally, I base the name on their own unique personalities....ie, my pets (both past & present)

    Mouse - Cat
    Squeaker - Cat
    Scooby - Cat (deceased:()
    Shorty - Cat
Houdini - Cat (*adopted/looking for new home*)
    Blaze - Shetland pony (deceased:()
Socrates - Corn snake (no longer owned) *stupid bylaws*
    Lucifina - Hamster (snake snack:(:()
Aithne (celtic, meaning little fire) - Corn snake (no longer own) *stupid bylaws*
Cleo(patra) - King Snake (no longer owned) *stupid bylaws*
Ginger (ale) - Quarter Horse/Through Bred
    Coco - Shetland Pony (deceased)
    Pepper - Pot Belly Pig
    Stalker - Wolf/Huskie

I had one, and named it "Piggy", or you could name it Wilbur, or some other pig/hog name. I do like Harley, though....you could ask people if they want to see your hog, then show em' your snake!

I know it doesn't matter...but in tombstone Doc Holiday was played by Val Kilmer...maybe you're referencing another movie that I don't know about though:)
