As far as I've ever known, you don't have to adjust temps at all during shed cycles and just monitor your humidity. We usually go with 80-82 degrees cool side, 90-92 degrees warm side and 50-60 percent normal humidity....then push up the humidity to around 70 percent during the entire shed cycle, dropping it back only when the shed is complete.

What sort of top do you have on the tank? Is it near a fan or other source of moving air?

(if you use screen lids cover them thangs!)

You can also try adding a humid hide to the enclosure. Get a nice rubbermaid like container, put a hole on the side, for an entrance. Line the rubbermaid with lightly dampened (but not dripping wet) paper towels or moss. I use these as normal hides and just add the damp moss when I notice a shed. :D

If it's a screen top, covering it will definitely help!!! I'd try that first.

No problem. Let us know how it goes. If you're have trouble with ambient temps use a little aluminum foil. Will help keep heat and humidity in. :D Of course when I used tanks I used contact paper left over from lining my shelves. ;)
