    Post shed eyes..different color?
Sir Hiss had another perfect shed with me..always makes you feel good about husbandry! Anyway..his eyes have turned a silvery color. Is this possible, or am I seeing things? Eye caps came off, I checked the shed and they are there. I know that his eyes were blackish pre-shed because I have never been able to see his pupil, and now I can. What do you think?

Not sure why it happens, but it does ... I see it in my animals from time to time ... pretty common ... maybe it has something to do with the way the new eye scale has developed.

I see it too; it is actually quite pretty :)
As long as there isn't a retained eyecap.
