Anyone keep or know about African house snakes?
so i've been searching for the perfect first breeding project. i was going to do carpets of some sort, but now i'm thinking i may want to do something smaller. spotted pythons are a possibility, but so many people around here breed antaresia, it makes me want to try something new.
i've read a little about these snakes and i know they're small, hardy, and are prolific breeders... but i've still never talked to or associated with anyone whose kept them. comments? experience??

yeah, there was a great article about them in the 2005 annual reptiles magazine. i remember reading that to get them to breed all you have to do is put to healthy adult animals in the same cage. thats pretty much all i know though. sorry.

nice, i'll have to check that out. it just sometimes seems to me that you see a lot of the same snakes over and over at shows and in the trade... i want to try to bring something different. thanks again
