    Kind of gross, but...
I cleaned up a very foul mess in the Otis's tank today and I'm worried it was a regerg =( He usually poos big and often, but this was brown and smelly...if this is a regerg, is there anything I need to do, or just try to feed him normally and give him a few more days afterwards??

Brown and smelly? Sounds like a poo to me. If it was a regurg, it would still resemble the rodent. How long since you fed?

It was on Wednesday, so he should probably be fully digested, right?....I know it sounds like a total "duh" question, but I've had him for almost 2 months now and this is literally the first time he's ever done that. I'm probably overreacting as usual, I just thought their urates and poop looked the same =P I do really appreciate the response though, just to make me feel better =)

Nope poop looks just like poop! The urates consist of two parts the white chalky stuff and a liquid part. It sounds like you more than likely have a nice bm. If it was a regurg it would have happened sooner that. I think your fine. Don't worry about the massive panic attacks, just remember to take a deep breath. You asked the questions you needed answered and now you know the difference. Win - win!! :D

Most of the time what our bp's pass as far as poop looks pretty much like a large cat poop unless of course they've slithered through it, laid on it or otherwise made a big mess of it. Also they don't seem to always pass their urates at the same time or in the same place as they have their stinky dump.

If there is ever a concern about your snake's poop (or it's health in general), most vets do fecals for a very reasonable price (I think mine charges around $23.00). You just scoop up the poop, pop it into a ziploc baggie, store it in the fridge and drop it off to the vet as soon as you can. Some will do the fecal right there and then while you wait if you let them know ahead of time you are bringing it in.
