    Site Downtime - 1/21/06
In case you didn't catch it on the portal page or via the announcement posts:

The website will be unavailable on Saturday January 21 due to required software upgrades and associated site maintenence tasks. We hope the downtime will be minimal and very much appreciate your continued support. I'll work to get this all accomplished as quickly as possible.

Would like to go 3.5.3 but I am still poring over the template changes - having to revert them all then recustomize is pretty daunting - if that looks undoable or set to break too many things maybe 3.0.12.

Just thought I'd remind everyone to get their bp.net fix tonight, since the site will be down tomorrow!

And a big Thank You to Smulkin and all the Admins who keep this site operational. Good luck getting everything updated. My fingers will be crossed. :D

"as long as it takes" is as accurate as I can be - won't know how hairy it is until I am knees deep. I'll have it back as soon as humanly possible, though :)

I understand! I'll just take some tranqualizers (sp?) tomorrow! LOL Or else I'll just have to visit some far less superior sites.....big sigh!

Good luck tomorrow, I know that we'll be back up better than ever! And thanks for all you do!

OK, can't resist - I'm sure I'll have carpal tunnel syndrome in my clicker finger from hitting refresh all day tomorrow! :O

That's okay Robin. We'll all band together tomorrow and form a bpnet is down support group LOL! We'll survive though having my morning coffee without my forum visit may be terribly traumatic (oh well I guess I can always watch Sponge Bob with the kidlets LOL).

Best of luck tomorrow Matt. We all appreciate the hard work that goes into maintaining the site (don't please ever explain how you actually maintain it to me though....makes my ears bleed and my eyes cross!) :P
