    skin blisters...
My friend has an 8 foot BCI. Recently before a shed, she started getting blisters of fluid in her skin. My friend lanced one of the blisters with a sterile needle, and clear, odorless fluid came out.
The snake went on to shed normally and looks fine now; this was about a month ago. Do you think it was just shed-fluid buildup in between the layers of skin? It was really odd and I was wondering if anyone has seen this be4. It is a very massive female, and hardly ever moves around (though she has a big enclosure, good temps, etc.)

Glad to hear it cleared up!!! Although she was a smaller BP, Snoopy had the same thing, and since it didn't clear up after her shed, I took her to the vet. He cultured it and it was pseudomonas in the form of a systemic infection.

Here's hoping all remains well w/your friend's snake!
