Re: king snake viv size???
For a baby, use something like a 10 gallon. An adult kingsnake would be fine in a 20 gallon long tank.
Re: king snake viv size???
wow, ok. so ill just throw a divider in it. how long tell it can go in the whole thing?
Re: king snake viv size???
Wait a few months until it's settled in well and eating regularly. Baby colubrids are normally very nervous snakes. Make sure there's lots of hides.
Re: king snake viv size???
ok, and also shelby, how much snake do you pan on geting??? last time i saw it it was 22 and now 24. your hella lucky!!!!
Re: king snake viv size???
lol.. well I am planning on breeding snakes as a business (or out of control hobby, whichever you prefer) so I don't have a set number. :)
Re: king snake viv size???
i see. i kinda like the out of control hobby one. sounds better, lol
Re: king snake viv size???
are you particularly interested in one or a couple species for breeding or are you gonna breed all kinds of snakes?
Re: king snake viv size???
Yep.. and they certainly aren't making me any money at this point (quite the opposite) so, hobby it is. :D
thread hijack alert.. my favorite species that I'd like to specialize in are surinam red tails and blood pythons (anacondas have captured my love as well) but.. you know me, I like most snakes.
Marshall, if you want to ask anything else off topic, do it in PM. :P
