    Q's regarding Feeders
I've decided that I will be feeding live prey to my future snake, (ie one that is use to eating live prey). Before I purchase the breeding pair to make all those wonderful fuzz-balls for this snake, I'd like to know a bit about their general care.

How old should the little mites be before they are feed?

What's the best diet to put them so that they remain healthy *and* gain sufficant weight to be eaten?

What kind of substarte should they have?

Thanks in advance for you help and patience.

Are you thinking of going with mice or rats as a prey type? They do have some differences in their care requirements so might be helpful to know which you were planning on going with.

Psssst.... look through the feeder forum, there are plenty of topics on this for breeding rats and mice. I am pretty sure you will find most if not all the info required. The search bar would help narrow down to just the info you are seeking species wise.
