    dexter's social evening!
i'm so proud of dexter. he came out to get some attention with my meditation group tonight. after we did our meditation... i asked if anyone wanted to hold him (as we did a shapeshifting journey and a couple of us were snakes) so everyone said they were comfy with him coming out...

so he spent a couple of hours in different people's hands... he didn't ball up at all! and he was a very social little guy.

i'm sooooo proud of him! it was his first time being around someone other than family really... a few short little "here's my snake" times out of his viv but nothing like this!

:D ya dex!!!

What do you do in a shapeshifting journey?

Ours is a little socialite too - she doesn't mind who holds her :) Her favorite time of day is coming out in the evening (when not resting after her feed) and just sitting on me sharing a warm hot-water bottle while watching TV - I just have to watch I don't fall asleep with her on me in case she did decide to explore.

I'm curious as to shape-shifting too - it sounds really interesting - I should think imagining oneself as a snake cruising around in nice, graceful curves would be very relaxing.

That's cool :) You should be happy to have a snake who doesn't mind being social; they are not all like that :)

Mine is very lax also. I thought it was very strange how she acts. I've NEVER see her ball up once. She is cool with the cats, dogs, and people in my house. She loves to crawl all over everyone and was even pretty social with allt he animals int he vets waiting room. Very cool
